Thi Yen Anh Co

Thi Yen Anh Lo is a registered nurse (RN) and a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) with a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education from UTS. She has been an RN over 20 years, including 4 years experience as a CDE in Liverpool Hosptial and another 3 years experience in Fairfield Hospital.

Currently in Fairfield Hospital, she recognises the growing demand for weekend services as patients are often unable to attend during work days. Working closely with hospital dietitians, she offers her services during weekends and also provides home care visit to assist patients with mobility restrictions.

Yen Anh provides support for patients with all types of diabetes (Type I, type II and gestational). She can register patients to NDSS and is authorised to titrate insulin doses for patients. Additionally, she can review the patient’s blood glucose levels and provide comprehensive education on all types of diabetes, including diabetes-related complications, the annual cycle of diabetes care, blood glucose monitoring, managing hypoglycemia and basic healthy eating. For patients with T1, she can apply for free CGM devices through NDSS.
